NHE YBD provides individualized instruction in a positive and supportive environment for players to learn and grow.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive skills development and personal growth opportunities for youth through the sport of basketball.
League Play begins Early Spring.
Preparation focuses on the mental aspect of the game.
It is essential for players to mentally prepare themselves for each game, visualizing their strategies and goals, and staying focused and confident in their abilities.
Practice emphasizes the importance of repetition.
Through consistent and dedicated practice, players can hone their skills, improve their techniques, and build their teamwork and communication.
Effective preparation and practice are essential for anyone to succeed and perform in a competitive environment.
Performance highlights the significance of teamwork and collaboration.
In the heat of competition, players must come together as a cohesive unit, supporting and trusting each other to achieve their common goal of success. Through preparation, practice, and a commitment to supporting each other, players can come together to achieve their common goal of success.
By embracing these three pillars, our league aims to cultivate a strong and competitive environment where players can grow and thrive both individually and as a team.
Eight Week Program every Saturday. Each team will have one hour of training each week.
During weekday practices, players work on essential basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and game prep for offensive and defensive strategies. They will also learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, and the importance of hard work and dedication.
On Saturdays, players will have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in our exciting in-house league games. These games are a chance for players to showcase their abilities, compete against their peers, and have a blast on the court.
Our league strives to provide a well-rounded experience where grades 4th-6th and 7-8th student athletes improve their basketball skills and develop important life skills that will benefit them both on and off the court.
Athletes are eligible for 8 hours of training. Each team will play at least 3 games each weekend. Each athlete receives a dri-fit t-shirt to play in.
